A Lazy Girl’s Halloween

lazy girls halloween costume

BOO!!! It’s allllmost effing Halloween, & I am so so so excited. H-weenie is by far one of my favie holidays. I love the spooky shit on T.V., pumpkin carving/my special cayenne pumpkin seeds, creepy cocktails, & of course… dressing up.

Weird thing is, as OCD as I am, I usually wait till last minute to get my costume together. Pull together some things in my closet, grab some fun accessories from Urban Outfitters, & do some rad make-up (I am all about the crazy make-up, since I usually wear little to none).

I am all for planning an elaborate costume 6 months it advance, if that’s your style, but I am also okay with you procrastinating & being lazy about your look- just as long as you promise not to buy one of those disgustingly tacky fireman/cop costumes from the party store. Make me puke.

As for my costume this year… I have an idea brewing , but haven’t gotten anything together yet (duh, procrastinating), so you guys are just going to have to wait & see what I settle on. Bitzy on the other hand, she will be a sexy little french maid complete with a duster.

What are youuuu going to be? You can also see last years lazy girl costume here.

My fave lazy girl costume ideas:

1. Be a fashionable skeleton w/ this chic x-ray pencil skirt & a matching slouchy x-ray tee. Finish the look off with some skeleton tights & rad face make-up.

2. Or you can be a more classic skeleton with this lip service skeleton maxi dress & some black combat boots.

3. Whichever skeleton you choose to be, you must must must have these sick leather gloves– which I would clearly wear on days other than Halloween.

4. This little batwing clutch would be the perfect add-on for a bat costume.

5. If you live in a colder climate, don’t torture self trying to wear a teeny tiny anything. Instead, throw this fuzzy polar bear jacket on over a chunky white sweater with some furry boots- cozy & cute.

6. Be an edgy kitty with some studded cat ears, a dramatic cat eye, maroon lips, all black, & some thigh high leather boots. Meowwww.

7. Back to the bat- this unitard is just too cool. It’s kind of making me really want to be a bat…

8. How insane is this bat fur coat? Put it on over the unitard, grab your batwing clutch, & you officially have a bat-shit-crazy & cool costume.

9. This cat ear knit headband is perfect for a cute lil’ kitty- the kind with a heart shaped pink nose & some long black whiskers.
