Rich Girl / Poor Girl: Dior ‘So Real’ Sunnies

Fun fact about me, I am a horrible sunglasses owner.

I throw them in my bag without putting them back in the case, I step/sit on them a lot, they always get scratched, I lose them in the ocean (yea, that happened w/ a pair of Dior’s. Ouch.), & man oh man do they get DIRTY. Zack literally rips them off my face every 10 minutes to clean them because they are covered in fingerprints, which clearly I don’t ever notice.

That being said, minus my Ray-Ban circle sunnies that I pretty much wear daily & the one pair of Saint Laurent aviators that I bought on a whim… after a couple glasses of wine (when most of the shopping happens), I pretty much dodge designer sunnies.

When the Dior ‘So Real’ Sunglasses hit the market & the faces of every fashionista everywhere… I almost reconsidered my aversion to designer shades, until I saw that hefty $595 pricetag. It literally blows my mind how plastic & some metal can cost that much.

So, I decided to practice some patience. Soon enough, with a sunglass style that popular, other companies will catch on and whip up some doppelgängers. Sure enough, they did.

Check out the poor girl dupe for these bad ass rich girl shades below! I got the tortoise, but I’m thinking I need the black as well.
