Do It Yourself: Cutesie Alphabet Bracelets

When it comes to finding DIY inspiration, Instagram is my go-to & I am the queen of the screenshot.

Cute outfit, screenshot. Shoes I need to buy, screenshot. Destroyed Balmain t-shirt I can’t justify spending $620 on but want to recreate, screenshot (P.S. this bad boy is coming soon to the blog!).

Yup, I am totally addicted to screenshotting– can you blame me though? Instagram is a freaking gold mine!!!

Of course, due to my OCD tendencies, these lovely screenshots are all perfectly organized into their own albums labeled: DIY Inspo || Hair Inspo || Outfits <3 || Must Own Yesterday || Misc (usually full of funny pictures from The Fat Jewish– SO LOL) || & Quotes. It’s basically my own personal lil’ Pinterest account/ visual to-do list.

My latest DIY inspo screenshot came from the one & only Barefoot Blonde. She was rocking the most adorable letter bracelet (seen here) with the initials of her ridiculously cute baby boy. It was dainty, chic, & perfect for layering w/ the daily arm party. Plus, when it comes to jewelry, I am a major sucker for anything personalized.

Even if you’re not a jewelry maker, I promise, you can whip these bad boys up in no time. I personalized mine with lush (for Fashionlush- duh), Z <3 E (for my guy), & WWOD (which my BFF explains in full detail here).

Friends who are reading this, really hope you like these, cause I can pretty much guarantee I will be gifting ’em on the reg.

xx, E

The Steps:

1. Cut a piece of chain the size of your wrist

2. Cut a 2 inch piece of jewelry wire & wire wrap (technique found here) to one end of your now cut chain- linking the wire to the chain.

3. String on your beads & link the wire to the other end of your chain- closing off the bracelet.

4. Cut your bracelet open in the back (where your clasp will be) & re-measure around your wrist, cutting off any excess chain.

5. Attached your clasp to one end & jump ring to the other- VOILA!! Easy-peasy.
