5 Things You Need in Your Life…. (like yesterday)

fashionlush, briogeo scalp revival, 5 things

Oh hey guys! Just coming back from a fun wedding weekend & HAVE to share with you guys my top 5 game changers of the week. Trust me on these, you’re gonna be obsessed… & if you have any game changers I need to know about, please do share! x, E

1. Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut oil micro-exfoliating shampoookay, so for the past few months, my hair has all around blah. It’s been grimy, heavy, dull, & just always looked/felt super tired & kinda dirty. I don’t wash my hair everyday, but I wash it enough so that it shouldn’t be feeling so DIRTY.

Then along came this Briogeo scalp revival shampoo, which really really peaked my interest. I love everything about charcoal’s detoxifying properties, coconut oil is my jam, & the tea-tree oil + mint help to balance the scalp. Also, it exfoliates, which is something I have never heard of in a shampoo & am obsessed with. You know how good it feels when someone scratches your head… yah, shampooing with this stuff feels just like that.

This stuff seriously removed SO MUCH build-up & left my hair feeling incredibly fresh, light, & soft. Healthy hair starts w/ a healthy scalp, & this amazing shampoo does the trick so good. NOT to mention, it smells like thin mints & contains zero parabens/sulfates/silicones/phthalates.

2. MONQ Therapeutic Air: if you’ve been following me on Snapchat, you’ve already heard about my new MONQ personal diffuser. I am kind of obsessed w/ this little device right now.

It contains absolutely zero chemicals, tobacco, cbd, thc, etc. & delivers super powerful essential oils straight to your olfactory system… the place where essential oils make their magic.

I am a huge believer in the power of essential oils, & these little MONQ sticks have been a total game changer for my nerves. They make 10 super amazing essential oil combos, all that people RAVE about, but I started out with zen because it has a super stellar combo of orange + ylang ylang + frankincense- all of which are super good for calming anxiety!

I honestly was so obsessed w/ this whole concept I reached out to the brand & they gave me this special link for you guys to get 10% off because I really really think everyone needs to try MONQ! It’s amazing.

3. S-Town podcast: UMMMM. Have you listened? We just road tripped up to Carmel for a wedding this past weekend & binge listened to the S-Town podcast the whole way there & back. IT WAS AMAZING. Do yourself a favor & started listening asap.

It’s from the same producers who did Serial, & honestly, it might be better. Each chapter of the podcast just get’s more & more bizarre. Seriously, just when you think shit can’t get weirder, it gets weirder. In the end though, it’s a really great story that I think everyone needs to listen to.

4. Trader Joes Organic Ginger Turmeric tea: I am just getting back into drinking more tea… & I am super addicted to this organic ginger turmeric tea from Trader Joes. Random addition to the list, but I love finding the little gems at Trader Joe’s & this is one of them.

Technically there is no actual tea leaves in these bags, just a killer combo of ginger/turmeric/orange peel/licorice root/orange oil/black pepper. It’s caffeine free, but super invigorating & delicious with tons of great healing, anti-inflammatory, & antioxidant properties.

If you guys have any TJ favorites, please spill!!!! I love that place.

5. Artist Couture ‘Coco Bling’: WORLD’S BEST HIGHLIGHTER. You know how those YouTube beauty vloggers get that killer cheek glow? More often than not, they are using Coco Bling. 100% not sponsored, this stuff is basically diamond dust.

  1. Trader Joe’s Ginger Turmeric is the best, I drink it every night. Try adding some CoQ10 (coenzyme Q-10), it’s a total game changer for brain health. It helps your cells produce energy and functions as an antioxidant to help protect them from potentially harmful chemicals.
