Magic is Brewing: What's New at Blog-Doo

As many of you may already know, on top of blogging on the daily, my best friend & I also own a really rad [ #hardbrag #notsorry ] blog design company, Blog-Doo.

To say I eat/ breathe/ dream blogging… well, that’d probably be the understatement of the century… & I love it. At Blog-Doo, we work our witchy blog magic to either create the blog of your dreams or to give your current blog the make-over it needs to up your blog game.

Lately, we have had a ton of new things brewing at the Blog-Doo headquarters & I figured it’s time to a lil’ update to keep all of you in the loop.

We are really excited to announce we’ve got some new & super talented team members. Let me introduce you:

▷▷ Katie, blogger at The Fashion Bite, is our Head of Communications & a budding web design guru. Not only does she help get the clients set-up, answer any and all questions, & bring ideas to life… but she also makes sure the experience is FUN & EXCITING for our clients.

▷▷ Natalie, blogger at Halfway to Harmony, is our latest addition and a true graphic design prodigy. She handles all the artistic aspects of the company, has creative energy that won’t stop, & her logos/mood-board designs are literally off the charts amazing.

✚ ✚ ✚ Blog-Doo Got a Sexy Lil’ Make-Over ✚ ✚ ✚

Yup! Blog-Doo 2.0 just launched, and we are uber excited about it. You will still find the the process // spells & services // our craft // portfolio // etc., but the design has gotten a clean & minimalistic design update.

On top of that, you will also notice all new pictures through out the site (& this post). We did our first site shoot [ scope all the amazing pictures here ] with the oh-so-talented Katherine Ann Rose, & we were so obsessed with her work we could barely wait to book her for round 2. Her photos always look so magical & dreamy, plus she just gets our witchy vibe. Love.

Yes yes yes, you read it here first!! Blog-Doo is joining forces with The Bloguettes to bring you all an epic 2-day blogging workshop right here in San Diego.

A great looking site is always the first step when starting a blog, but there is so much more to it than just that. This workshop will pretty much cover all you need to know to enter the amazing world of blogging.

All The Workshop Deets::

▷▷ You will learn about: visual branding, the basics of photoshop, social media tips & tricks, photography tips, the business of blogging, & so so much more!!

▷▷ Guest Speakers: Zack Dowdy (our video master) will be talking about the importance of incorporating video into your site & how to make awesome GIFS. Jackie Brown, the owner of JNB Jewelry, will be sharing a few words on how to seriously up your Instagram game.
