Office Space

Out of all the spots in our house, my office is probably my favorite so far.

I’ve never had a home office before, so I was really excited about getting it set up. Before even getting our bedroom/kitchen/living room in order, I started on the office. In order for me to be productive, my workspace needs to be in perfect order, so this is the first & only 100% completed space in our house & I am SO excited to share it with you guys!

Prior to moving I did a LOT of pinning & had a very very clear image of what I wanted my office space to look like. I wanted it to be very minimalistic like the rest of my house, keeping it mostly all white with a few touches of black, but I also wanted a little bit of organized chaos.

My desk is kinda my “inspiration station”, so I did’t want it to be completely barren. I wanted things around me that would make me excited to sit at my desk everyday & put me in the mood to kick ass.

I will breakdown what your seeing in the images below & you can shop all the things in my office at the end of this post :). Hope you guys like it! x, E

p.s. a full home tour post is coming soon, but be sure to check out my DIY art wall here!

One thing I knew I wanted in my office was a gridwall mood board next to my desk.

I found the perfect white grid panel and use black & white binder clips (love binder clips!) to attach inspirational magazine tears, pictures, notes to myself, cute cards, etc. I also hang some necklace & sunglasses from it as well.

I also got some cute twinkle lights (kinda hard to see in the photos) to drape around the edges.

Another look at my gridwall & some desk art.

I used Framebridge to print & frame one of my favorite quotes I posted on Instagram, “my brain has too many tabs open”. What better piece of art to have on my desk, when both my brain & computer have way too many tabs open!

A closer look at some of my favorite desk accessories. This side of the desk has kind of a marble theme going on, which I love.

What you’re seeing: a grid letter tray that I got from the Target dollar section, a little marble notepad for my 9000 daily to-do lists (compulsive), a snowy turquoise serving platter I use as a mousepad, my tarot cards, a miniature vintage camera, sticky notes (for more to-do lists), & a skull candle holder.

I also keep a handful of crystals in a marble bowl on my desk for good work vibes. The marble bowl actually came from a mortar & pestle set, but I tossed the pestle.

I have a black clothing rack next to my desk to organize outfits for future posts, & I use all white wood hangers, because it’s all about the little details!

Above my desk I have a shelf that I keep my DIY succulent pen plater, an illustration someone did of me & Bitzy that I love, some black & white books, & a miniature Andy Warhol figurine. From the shelf I hung a gold hanger to hold one of my favorite magazines, this was inspired my Danish decor blogs (my obsession!).

To the left of my desk I have a small lucite organizer to store my all white pencils, business cards, Ouija mints, a little silver ampersand (which is actually a bottle opener), & my eyeglasses.

I have my current read, “Light is the New Black“, on my desk as well. It’s a self help book of sorts to help you with learning the art of light work! Super good, I highly reccomend it.

Oh, & you can find my laptop stand here— it’s great for proper posture while working!).
