This & That | Almost Abroad!!

fashionlush, home decor, target wire basket

new in | home decor edition: pewter wire basket w/ rose gold handles from Target to store my vintage magazine collection.

T minus 2 days till we leave for Sweden & Copenhagen and I am having a mix of emotions.

One second I am totally game & ready for anything (even the horrifying 11 hours on a plane), then BOOM… my hearts beating out of my chest & I am frantically putting 900 drops of Kava in my water (holistic anxiety relief) to help calm my frazzled as f*ck nerves. It’s very touch & go over here, to say the least.

Perfect example, if you follow me on Snapchat (un: fashionlush), you got a look at my embarrassing attempt at packing. I started at 1pm with an empty suitcase, at 3pm I had an empty suitcase with one travel size bottle of wrinkle release spray, at 9pm I had a wet bikini bag/my selfie stick/ & three pairs of underwear. Then, at 12am, my night owl ways kicked in & I actually made some progress. I got about one third of the way through & then needed more Kava.

Chances are, I will probably unpack & redo it all tomorrow, because I really am that psycho.

So, that pretty much sums up how I spent my muggy, rainy, hot as hell Sunday. Which BTW, this weather is freaking me out. Is the world ending? Is the huge pacific northwest quake coming soon? Will my flight be cancelled? Is there going to be a tsunami? I live close to the ocean, should I up my renters insurance? This my friends, is how my brain works… good times. Looks like it’s time for another Kava cocktail.

In other/more positive news, here are a few this & that wknd highlights that sorta took my mind off all the travel anxiety for a hot minute… happy Monday! x, E

P.S. Be sure to check out on of my fave new shopping sites, Pleenq that has been keeping me nice & distracted alllll week long! Basically, it makes it super duper easy to shop some of the most fashionable Insta-baes & I am stoked x 100 to be featured! Trust, it’s so cool.

jewelry obsession | part 1: KITSCH. Seriously though, it’s so so so cute, dainty, & affordable!

I am super into lariats lately (perfect for layering) & got this amazing silver crystal one + this dainty gold one as well as a beautiful hand piece. Not to mention, their packaging is on point!

fashionlush, lili claspe jewelry, boho chic jewelry

jewelry obsession | part 2: Lili Claspe, aka majorly rad jewelry!

I scored this amazing leather wrap w/ citrine points, the kitten collar choker, these little gold pixie ear chains, & handful of their beautiful textured stackers in all different metals.

fashionlush, grey ombre, silver ombre

Eeek! Total highlight of my week- I got my hurr did. I saw my girl Tovi at Bombshell Salon for a little pre-trip update to my boring ass tresses.

I am going for a grey ombre look, & for our first go, we got pretty great results. It’s definitely a process & we wanna take it slow so that my hair doesn’t fall out, but I am going back in Tuesday for a tone before I leave. When I get back from my travels, we will be going even more grey until I am full silver grandma status. Couldn’t be more excited!!

Pearl body chain, worn backwards, found here from the stunning Isharya.

fashionlush, hello hair, coconut oil hair mask, review

& after my 5 hour sesh in the hair chair, I used my go-to hair mask by Hello Hair. My ends are definitely a bit damaged, so I left this bad boy on for the entire day Sunday. It’s a real gem.
