This & That | Snowy Wknd in Big Bear

Hey hey hey guys! How was your Hanukkah/Christmas? Hopefully full of all the warm & fuzzies, and some good gifts as well. What’d you guys get? Best gift? Do tell!!

So far, cause Hanukkah ain’t over yet, my fave gifts were a Magic Bullet (smoothie game is gonna be so strong) & a rad chess set (LOVE chess!!)

We spent our holiday weekend in Big Bear with the fam, hoping to get to see some snow. We were expecting maybe a few inches, a little snow, but what we got was just straight up magical- it dumped and dumped snow like I’ve never seen before in my life. We woke on Christmas Eve to about 2 feet of snow, our cars, buried, & completely snowed in. We spent the day running with the dogs in the snow, drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows, & playing games/watching movies. It was perfect.

The next day, the downpour of snow stopped & we hit the slopes! I haven’t been on skis in twenty years & Zack had never been snowboarding, but surprisingly- we did it with very little falls & had SO much fun. I now have a renewed love for skiing & can’t wait to go back!! The chairlift was horrifying, but speeding down those hills to treat ourselves with hot toddy’s was beyond worth it!!
