Friday was the much anticipated Nightmare Before X-mas Soiree at Van De Vort, & Fashionlush was providing a cute little DIY booth. When I woke up that AM with a raging sore throat, I wanted to cry. Could the timing be any worse? I would get sick right before the holidays and the event I had been planning for about a month. Radical.
The show went on, as I knew it would, & it was a huge success. While everyone drank wine & cocktails, I stayed bundled up with a cup of hot cocoa & my boyfriend’s beanie.
Since then, I have been in and out of a NyQuil coma, waking up to work & then going back to bed. Finalllllly I am starting to feel a little bit better. I am thinking I am just a nap or two away from full health. Just in time for Christmas!!
