The New Way to Wear Leather this Fall/Winter

It’s been a hot minute since I have even looked at my leather (but mainly faux leather/leather look) pieces in my closet because it has actually literally been to damn hot…. but I when I got around to pulling them out & dusting them off, I realized, but leather options needed a little update.

Sure, a leather jacket is just a leather jacket & a leather skirt is just a leather skirt, but still… you gotta keep it fresh when the seasons change & the 2017 leather trends are kinda killing it.

Leather is looking a whole lot edgier these days, which is saying a lot considering leather inherently gives me all the edgy feels (even paired with a sweatshirt, instant edge).

When I was in San Francisco a few weeks ago, I saw the jacket I am wearing on the mannequin when we first walked into Forever 21 & it was just one of those things I needed to have. It was the fresh kinda leather jacket option I was looking for, & really looked like a million bucks (but I think it was only $40- yes to faux leather!). It also was probably a mens jacket, but I loved the oversized fit. It ended up being a huge fiasco cause they wouldn’t take it off the mannequin for me, but luckily my cousin offered to pick it up & send it to me.

That’s just the beginning of my leather wardrobe makeover as I am still on the hunt for a rad leather hat, new leather bells, & a cool leather skirt to pair with a chunky sweater & black tights.
