Holiday DIY | Hair Care Gift Basket

My mom is basically the queen budget beauty tricks.

She was the one who introduced me to the OG pink & green Maybelline mascara, FROWNIES (life changer), & just about every product under the sun that some celeb swore by in a magazine interview.

When it comes to haircare, my Mom’s always ranted & raved about Nexxus products for as long as I can remember. When she likes something, she really likes something forever, & Nexxus has been one of those things.

For good reason too, it really is INSANE. I swear, it works better than shampoos I’ve paid a whole lot more for in the past.

So, when I was in Target the other day & saw they were offering a Black Friday sale on Nexxus products only, I immediately started stock piling what was left of my favorites (the shelves were clearing quick!).

Newsflash to the ladies in my life: a hair care caddy may very well be coming your way. sorry to ruin the surprise!

Making this little caddy wasn’t only super easy, but it’s also environmentally friendly (recycling is king), & shows your more creative side. Check out all the DIY deets below & stay tuned for more gifting inspo!

DIY Hair Care Gift Basket

» White spray paint

» Drink holder. Recycle a 4 pack of ginger beer, or for more product, a 6 pack!

» Festive hair ties, found in the Target dollar section!

» Pom Pom Trim

» Pom Pom Scarf (optional!)

» Fresh Rosemary

1. Spray paint your cardboard drink holder. Let dry completely.

2. Place your festive hair ties on each bottle of product, for some added sparkle.

3. Cut two pieces of pom pom trim & tie them about an inch apart around your caddy.

4. Place a sprig of rosemary (or tree) on the front of the caddy. I am loving the gift wrapping trend of black + white + living green! Plus, it just smells like the holidays.

5. When presenting your gift, leave it under the tree placed on top of a cozy matching pom pom scarf. It’s all about the little details.
