Ladylike Ruffles

Clearly, I am not the girliest of girls. I am all about it & envy girls who can rock it, but sometimes you just gotta accept that not everything works for everyone… & things like bright colors, peplum silhouettes, & hot pink heels just don’t suit me well.

BUT… I a still a girl, & always down for a dress that twirls. Typically I’d kinda steer away from ruffles, but this year ruffles have gone from girly to really edgy. No longer do you think Sunday school dress circa the nineties.

I am really digging this white ruffle swing dress– it’s kind of got that Edie Sedgwick vibe (hence the choice of wearing tights with it!), but the crisp white gives it a minimal/modern twist.

In other ruffle news- I am also all about ruffled sweatshirts & tiered ruffled sleeves RN. Gotta score me some of those!
