Now lemme tell ya…. I LOVE A GOOD CANDLE all year round- but when Fall comes around & the pumpkin candles hit the shelves, I go crazy. The basic bitch in me just can’t help herself. There is literally nothing quite like the smell of a fabulous Fall themed candle wafting through your home, but there is just one little issue I have with all these Fall candles….
Let’s paint a picture, shall we? You walk into Homegoods, hit up the candle aisle, and you are bombarded with yummy smelling Fall candles. You are grabbing, you are sniffing, you are loving, but the aesthetic just is NOT THERE. I don’t care how good the candle smells, burnt orange wax in a vessel shaped like a pumpkin is just NOT the vibe we are going for.
SO- when Ryan Porter reached out to do a Fall candle collab with Blog-Doo (if you don’t know- it’s our blog design company that I founded with my BFF- Lauryn of The Skinny Confidential where we create rad blogs for boss babes) we were ALL OVER IT.
Lauryn & I share a love for both a pastel aesthetic AND a really good smelling candle, so this was right up our alley. The process of creating these limited edition Blog-Doo x Ryan Porter candles was SO FUN. We got to smell all sorts of amazing candle scents & were basically mad scientists mixing and matching until we created two PERFECT cozy Fall scents for the home. AND OF COURSE, the aesthetics always need to be on point. No basic bitch orange pumpkins spice candles here.
The vessels are pastel pink, naturally, and we contrasted the wax to create a dreamy pastel moment for the home & for the gram (cause the feed needs these candles, TRUST!).
