Packing for Mexico

Can someone just teleport straight into next week?!

I am going to Mexico for my BFF’s wedding & it really couldn’t get hear any quicker. I am long overdo for a vacation!!

Because we are going to Mexico in Fall, packing has been a bit of a challenge. It’s harder than I thought it would be to find Summery styles amongst all that crushed velvet going on right now. The upside though- all the swimsuits are majorly on sale!

So, I wanted to share with you guys what’s in my suitcase, cause I am sure a handful of you are escaping the colder seasons for somewhere more tropical & this post will give you a packing headstart (which I wish I had… the last minute packing hustle is not a good time).

ALSO- can we talk about my new Calpak luggage set! I LOVE how many of you tagged me in photos of this marble set on Instagram- you guys know me far too well & obviously, I had to get it! So chic, RIGHT?!

Anyways, off to write my wedding speech & already need a Xanax just thinking about it. Any tips for nailing a wedding speech- let me know! x, E

PACKING FOR MEXICO

1. Public Desire Nika ankle cuff heels: love love love these ankle cuff heels– they are the perfect black heel for vacay & versatile enough to bring home and wear with boyfriend jeans and a chunky sweater.

2. Floral jumpsuit: how cute is this flirty little number? An off the shoulder moment when on a tropical getaway is always a good idea.

3. Wide brimmed straw hat: sun protection is key, & I just feel like a straw hat is a vacation essential.

4. Flynn Skye day dress: the perfect piece to throw on over a swimsuit or to pair with sneakers for brunch by the pool- & the crimson hue is also on point for Mexico in the Fall!

5. MD Creme Beauty Balm sunscreen: This sunscreen though!!! Obviously, sunscreen is an must, but sunscreen with caffeine is a total game changer. TRUST- this makes your skin glow like no other!

6. Michelle Mason rose gold dress: STUNNING- right? I may or may not be wearing this one to the wedding. Silky pieces & Mexico kinda seem to go hand in hand… right?

7. Zimmerman ribbed white swimsuit: I won’t be wearing a lot of white this trip since I am going for my best friends wedding, but I can’t go somewhere sunny without a white swimsuit- nothing brings out a tan better (plus, this cute ribbed number is currently on sale!).

8. Sonix ‘Dafni’ cat eye sunglasses: cause you certainly can’t go on a trip w/ out proper vacation sunnies ;). Cat-eyes are my travel go-to, & this light tortoise print is so in right now.

9. Metallic bikini: cause you gotta have a spicy bikini while working on your tan- love this simple silver set!

10. Loeffler Randall tassel sandals: tassels + vacation vibes = match made in heaven.

10. Calpak marble luggage set: one of the things about adulting, you gotta have a matching set of luggage & CLEARLY you guys know how much I love me some marble.
