What to Wear | Thanksgiving Edition

fashionlush, thanksgiving fashion, thanksgiving outfit

Out of all the holidays in the year, Thanksgiving is by far the best.

The food, the family, the cozy vibes, the board games, & did I mention- the food? Thanksgiving food is literally EVERYTHING. I make a killer gluten free butternut squash pie every year (instead of pumpkin), yams with marshmallows are my jam, & nothing beats the combo of turkey + cranberry sauce + stuffing (even on the next day, in sandwich form).

When I’m not thinking/dreaming about all the bomb food soon to be consumed, I’ve got Thanksgiving fashion the brain. I love dressing the part for all occasions, so obviously, this day of the year is no different.

On Turkey day, the main goal is to be cute & appropriately dressed for whatever type of T-Day dinner your attending, but also remaining comfortable. The last thing you want is to be the chick at the table who had to unbutton her pants cause she wore jeans & ate a few too many slices of pie (don’t lie, we’ve all been there).

SO- here are three fashionable looks that will have you looking on point while still having plenty of room to stuff your face. Celebrate Friday & treat yourself to a new look for the holiday! x, E

    1. Loving casual, comfy and cute holiday wear. I like being able to nap on the couch after lol.

I know you’ve talked about dark circles before. I’m really bothered by mine now, everyone always comments how tired I look. (Rude, and I start work at 6am :| ) I do get lots of sleep though and I don’t have time or want to wear makeup everyday. Whats like the main tips that work the best for you besides makeup? I also am drinking a ton of water. Love your blog!

      1. Thanks girl! As for dark circles, sadly the best tips are water & sleep. I also think taking a multi-vitamin will help!! x

        1. Okay, thank you. Did you have any success with the jade eye roller or clove cucumber mixture? Or do those work mostly for just depuffing ?

          1. Those are great, but yes, mainly for de-puffing! The jade roller is the best though, I highly suggest it.

  1. I really really like your style! Simple and stylish! These thanksgiving outfit suggestions are amazing! Thank you :)

I would recommend you take a look at the new online fashion marketplace called Stylewhile. They have very edgy and modern fashion and you can style your own outfits on a doll. It’s very fun :)

  2. I love your outfit suggestions – I think I would go for the “Friendsgiving Festivus” as I guess it would still be comfy when you had too much food (and this is easily possible ;) )
I also like the layout of your post very much. I’m looking for a nice “shop the look” widget for a few weeks now – could you please tell me which one you use?

    Thanks!

    Lots of love,
