juicing for your period

Dear old Aunt Flow, why you gotta be such a bitch? You come into town, put me in a bad mood, make my back hurt, and you cause me too put on a few lbs. Not a great house guest at all.

Although I do appreciate your monthly visits greatly, after a couple days, I am over you. Which is why I made you this juice. Just because you’re rude to me, doesn’t mean I will be a bad host.

P.S. Anyone know why they call this time of the month Aunt Flow anyways? I don’t know about you guys, but my Aunt’s are all fab…

Why it works?: The beta carotene in carrots helps to clear up those unwanted period pimples. Carrots are also natural diuretics, & will help you un-bloat. Broccoli is chock full of iron, which gives you a nice little energy boost when your period is wiping you out. Lastly, juice has tons of potassium, which assists in relieving stress, fatigue, & cramps- all the nasty things Aunt Flow packs in her luggage. +

    1. I have such a cheap juicer that’s leaky- I am going to get a new one for my bday hopefully! I would recommend a Breville. You should google reviews and look for one that has an easy clean up :) xx
