Zack & I were definitely late to the game, but somehow we managed to book all our Summer travels this weekend & I am SO freaking excited.
We always like to travel around late July to celebrate our birthdays (two days apart), but this year is extra special because it’s my big thirtieth (OY!). The last two years we went to Copenhagen, & if you know anything about me from this blog, you know Copenhagen is my happy place. I am so in love with that city, so it’s a no brainer we go back for a third year in a row.
You’d think we’ve seen it all by now, but we haven’t even scratched the surface. I have a feeling this year will actually be the best now that we’ve gotten all the typical touristy stuff out of the way. Plus, Copenhagen actually changes a lot in a year, so there are a ton of new places I’ve got on the list (mainly food, because that city KNOWS FOOD!).
Anyways, to mix things up, we did add an extra little surprise to the end of our trip. A destination we’ve never been, always wanted to go, & can’t wait to see! I am keeping the destination it under wraps for now (mystery is always a little fun), but you guys will see soon enough & I will def. be reaching out for recs!
EEK. As excited as I am, I am also super anxious. You guys may or may not know my whole anxiety story (feel free to check it out here), but travel is a big trigger for me. I am a homebody at heart, but I know once I get to where I am going I will be content. The suspense leading up to it is what gets me. Any tips to ease travel anxiety. LET ME KNOW. Always looking for the latest & greatest “cure all”.

Can’t wait to find out where you are going. Copenhagen has never really been on my to travel to list, however, with all of your talk about it and me following you while you have been there it makes me REALLY want to go. Is it weird that the food most of all is what attracts me?
You have to go sometime! It’s the most amazing place- & the food is definitely a highlight.
