Want to know one of my biggest weaknesses? Finding balance. It’s an art form that I have not been able to master just yet.

Maybe it’s my OCD nature, but when I start something I have to finish it. When I find a new favorite food, I always OD on it till I can’t even look at it anymore (i.e. Kale Chips, which I used to love & now make me gag). A new song on the radio I like? I’ll play the shit out of it till my ears bleed. There is no in between/ “I’ll get around to it”/ excuses for days/ procrastinating BS.

& absolutely no balance at all whatsoever. 

Sure, it can be good in some situations, but it can also be real bad for my sanity. Which is why I am actively trying to change my ways. Slowly breaking habits, changing up my music choices, trying new foods, & taking breaks from work to get my nails done/ go out with my babes/ take a nap/ snuggle my dog/ whatever the hell I feel like.

I practiced a lot this past weekend, and it felt goood. I relaxed, I did nothing, and I wasn’t sorry about it. I highly suggest you take some time this week to find some balance, be patient, and harness your chi ;).
