As if Monday’s aren’t annoying enough, Zack wakes me up to the fact our power is out… for 6 hours.
Not only is it annoying I can’t just sit in my pajamas & write my daily blog post first thing in the morning like I normally do, but my flat iron is out of commission (the jew fro struggle is real in the AM), I couldn’t make my morning smoothie, I had to cancel my first session w/ the new housekeeper (& you know the few days leading up the housekeeper you really let things go around the house… now she can’t come till next Monday & I have a mountain of dishes to deal with), & then of course, we had to go find somewhere to get some wifi…
BLAH- I just re-read that paragraph… holy white girl problems. I sound like such a spoiled brat. I promise you guys- I am not a spoiled brat. I am so grateful for all of my many blessings everyday, but I am also a creature of habit & when things go astray… I go astray too.
I like my routine & rn, I am all over the place cause my routine has been disrupted. Zack is sitting here working on his laptop like it’s NBD & I am just not feeling this. When I am not comfortable in my surroundings, working is near impossible.
Not to mention, I always pick up on too many peoples energy/conversations/moments. All of these distractions are making me oddly sleepy… so I am kinda hoping the power is still out when we go home so I have an excuse to just take a little power nap.
Ok, rant over. No more whiney white girl problems. Life is good <3 Happy Monday babes ;) x
