3 Weird AF Beauty Tools I Literally Can’t Live Without

weird beauty tools, fashionlush, beauty blogger

I am the QUEEN of buying whatever new skincare trend/product/tool everyone is raving about. The weirder, the better. The scarier, the better. The more Korean, definitely the better (Koreans know their skin man).

  • Facial roller w/ needles, bought it. Still scares me, but it did work.
  • Suction device that looks like an apple for Kylie lips, bought it & it hurt/looked ridiculous.
  • Jade roller, bought it twice *after the first one broke & stabbed me in the eye*… weird choice to rebuy. I do regret that because there are better rollers out there, one which made it into this post.
  • Ice roller, bought it (love it… but it didn’t make it on this list cause it’s not a daily staple)
  • Facial cupping set, bought it… never used it/can’t find it/will report when I do
  • The 24k beauty bar, bought it & never saw the huge results everyone raved about (ya win some, you lose some!)

Basically, I HAVE LITERALLY TRIED IT ALL. I used to have a section on the blog devoted to the WTF beauty thing I was buying & trying. I feel like I should bring that back?? The obsession with trying the weirdest shit ever has definitely not ended & probably never will.

SPEAKING OF WHICH- I just got my hands on the PMD KISS… more of an automated version of the above apple suction cup lip plumper tool. It’s only been one night but follow along on my Instagram cause I will be documenting the progress (if any… seems too good to be true!).

OKAY- NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF!!

My Top 3 WEIRD AF Beauty Tools That are ACTUAL Game Changers

1. ROSE QUARTZ GUA SHA TOOLS

This is no shocker cause I actually did a whole post dedicated to my gua sha obsession. I do this ALMOST daily & it is 100% worth mentioning again. It is seriously the ultimate collagen boost to my skin & I love doing it before I put my makeup on to plump up my skin. The whole process is uber relaxing & the effects are instant. I need instant gratification or else I am over it quick.

The rose quartz gua sha tools are great because they are pink *a trend in my beauty choices* & rose quartz properties including fading fine lines & reducing tension in the fact… but I think I am gonna get a jade set too because jade is great for acne prone skin & I need all the help I can get in that department.

2. GERANIUM & ROSE GOLD FACIAL ROLLER

I have seen this type of roller EVERYWHERE. The original is by Nurse Jamie but it’s $70 & with the amount of weird beauty tools I am buying, I am ALWAYS down for a dupe. I got this one because it was pink & the reviews are stellar. I can’t compare to Nurse Jamie cause I haven’t tried it but I can say it’s fucking amazing.

I bought 5 for all the women in my family & they are all obsessed now too.

I use it nightly in conjunction with my CBD & Chia seed facial oil (the best oil of all time) & it really irons out wrinkles. I use it on my neck a lot for those tech neck lines & it seriously diminishes them on the spot. Not gone fully, but wayyyy less noticeable. The geranium has all sorts of energizing properties & it definitely shows in my skin.

Also, my dogs are obsessed with it. They wait in line to be rolled (& then I clean it to use on myself).

3. SHEET MASK COVER

If you wear sheet masks religiously, like me, you actually can not live without this $6 silicone sheet mask protector. Basically it’s exactly what it says it is- wraps around your ears over a sheet mask. It holds your sheet mask in place cause they are ALWAYS annoying af & slipping off, it protects everything around you from being covered in sheet mask serum (you can talk on the phone), & it keeps your sheet mask from drying out quickly. It traps all that serum IN so that it can fully soak into your skin.

I have been using it with my new FAVE sheet masks- YOUTH ISLAND by Rael. I’ve tried a shit ton of sheet masks, these are actually the best.

OKAY- THAT’S IT, for now. If you have any weird as shit, but effective, beauty tools/trends/tips I need to know about- please share so I can experiment!!
