Spring LBD

Okay okay okay, first of all, did I tell you guys I got tickets to Beyoncé Formation tour?! After seeing Lemonade (MIND BLOWN), not chance in hell I could miss that concert. Have any of you guys been yet? Have you seen the merch?! The silk bomber jacket is reason enough to go to this concert.

Just had to tell you guys, cause I am so excited I could explode, but now let’s talk about the Spring LBD.

Just because the seasons are a changing does not mean you gotta shove all your black pieces to the back of your closet. If that were the case, I’d be totally fucked & in the nude all of the time. Just for a visual (not a nude one!!!), I have two closets…. one of them is the black closet & the other one I share with Zack so HALF of it is color. Therefore, 2/3 of my closet is pitch black.

Don’t get me wrong, I will definitely be incorporating more **color** into my wardrobe during the warmer months, but I also plan to put a Spring-y spin on my go-to ABO’s (all black outfits). Think flowy black numbers, dark lace, & wearing the shit out of this gorgeous Queen 4 a Day’ black lace dress by Hot as Hell. I mean, how insane is this dress? I totally feel like a queen… especially while casually frolicking through the most epic field of flowers.

*** SIDEBAR: when I say “color” I am referring to white/nude/grey/MAYBE a little baby pink… cause according to Glossier, Pink IS a neutral! I totally agree & a full pos ton WHY will be coming soon!! ***

I am also having a major moment with cowboy boots, taking it back to my southern roots, so I paired this ladylike dress w/ some bad ass vintage ponyhair cowboy boots (a hand me down from my cool as fuck Mom- did you see the nineties Gucci loafers she just gave me too?! SO GOOD!). Obviously you can’t find these exact boots since they’re vintage, BUT I am dying over this harness ankle boot version, this classic pair that is super tall, & THESE high heel cowboy boots by Lanvin (OMG I neeeeed).
