The Summer Romper

I typically run about 10 degrees warmer than the average human, which makes Summer time pretty damn uncomfortable sometimes.

I always have the air blasting, while Zack is bundled in blankets/sweatshirt/being a typical dramatic guy (sorry babe, but seriously… the beanie is overkill), I sleep with zero blankets while he is wrapped like a burrito, & when June rolls around, I am constantly complaining about how hot it is.

Each Summer is hotter than the last, so it’s crucial I stock up on lightweight items to keep from a serious case of heat stroke. Right now, I am all about the summer romper. They are easy to wear (pair with just about anything!), lightweight, flowy, & most importantly- they keep me comfortable.

White is always the Summer go-to, so I was definitely drawn to this spicy little number from Missguided, which got even spicier with the addition of some rad thigh high boots (love me a good thigh high!).

A few more romps I am majorly loving/wanting/needing:

1. Pinstripe Playsuit: love this semi-structured pinstripe romper! It would be great with just a simple pair of white tennis shoes & a fun choker.

2. Plunging White Romper: super into a deep plunge right now, & the trumpet sleeves are just the icing on the cake!

3. Lace Romper: the best damn lace romper I’ve ever seen! Definitely on my vacay wishlist ;).

4. Somedays Lovin Playsuit: I am digging this off the shoulder number- because why not show off your tanned shoulders a little?

5. Pom Pom Trim Playsuit: I mean, nothing screams summer more than a fun pom pom trim, right?

Alright alright, there you have it… the number 1 staple for all you hotter-than-normal ladies! Shop this look below + a whole bunch more white playsuit I love & have a fabulous/safe/champagne filled holiday weekend! x, Erica
