I have been so stressed lately. Not just a normal dose of stress, but an over-the-top/ hair pulling out/ on the verge of tears kind of stress. The kind of stress that is really not good for you or your sanity. I believe whole 100% that stress can be the number one factor of health problems, but sometimes it’s just seems impossible to turn off.
The to-do-lists are playing on repeat through my head, usually starting at night… right when I put the computer down and get in bed. It’s just too much, & today I shut down. I needed a break, & I need to mellow out. So, I went to my happy place.
The bathtub, at 3 in the afternoon.
A hot bath has always been my security blanket. I don’t care what time of day it is or if it is 100 degrees outside. Any problem can be cured with a bath.
+ Headache. Take a bath with essential oils, lights out, and a candle.
+ Stomach ache. Take a bath & drink a gingerale.
+ Stressed. Take a bath & meditate in the bath.
+ Cold. Take a bath & get your slippers ready for when you get out.
+ Can’t sleep. Take a bath & some melatonin.
Bath solves all. End of story.
