Denim and Stripes
Currently I am having a major denim & stripes moment. They just go together like…. Kanye & Kanye (?? LOL).
Not to mention, Fourth of July is right around the corner, & navy stripes are very partiotic-ish.
When it comes to wearing stripes though, contrary to what all “fashion rules” say, I am not biased to the direction of my stripe. Horizontal or vertical isn’t what matters to me, it’s the style of the stripe itself that can make or break a garment. The stripe needs to be the perfect width, against white (two different colored stripes, not a fan!), & the spacing needs to be perfect.
If all that lines up, wearing stripes is a breeze! I love wearing dresses over pants, so this soft as butter striped tunic dress was the perfect piece to throw on over my favorite ripped knee flares.
