Winter Layers | Shirts Under Dresses

I’m no stranger to layering my dresses w/ t-shirts… but now that it’s winter & pretty much freezing AF (west coast definition of freezing… aka a slight chill in the air), I have switched up my layering game a little.

Instead of the go-to slip dress, I am super into the idea of throwing on a strapless dress w/ a bit more structure over a casual long sleeve t-shirt or blouse. Dressed up, & dressed down… at the same time, cause I am all about that juxtaposition.

Not only does this look work for a casual lunch date w/ cute white sneaks, but you can even dress it up big time with a fancy maxi-dress & a simple short sleeve t-shirt w/ a black leather jacket.
