Slip Dress Styling | Put a Belt on It

2016 is the year of the slip dress & the styling options are endless. Mix things up & get creative, because a slip dress is anything but boring.

You can go for the nineties vibe & layer it with a t-shirt underneath (or turtleneck, for Fall!), the simple chic look by wearing your slip dress alone with a great pair of strappy heels, the grunge girl feels by rocking your slip dress with flatforms & a flannel tied around the waist, or… the edgy take on the slip dress, which is my slip dress styling of choice (atleast this time around).

I paired my fave little black slip dress (with amazing lace details + a low back) with a motorcycle jacket, clean white kicks, & a grommet belt.

I am having a major “put a belt on it”moment & am literally belting everything. Sweatshirts, dresses, t-shirts, you name it- I’m gonna belt that baby. I may even be doubling or tripling up my belts, after this insane Alberta Ferretti look spotted at Milan fashion week.

Shop this look + some other belted slip dress combos below and stay tuned for more slip dress styling, cause I am def. not done with slip dress! x, E
