Long Lace Layers

I love love love grey days. It’s my favorite type of weather, which is probably one of the reasons I am so into Copenhagen. They have a ton of perfectly cozy grey days!

Unlike California, when it rains in Copenhagen… people don’t stop. They aren’t dramatic about a drizzle, they ride their bikes in the rain, they pop in cafes when the rain starts & take a break from their day until it subsides, & they just go about normal life.

It’s fun. Plus, I love layering up for cooler weather. It was definitely a nice break from the uber hot temps of home & got us even more excited for getting some sun in Greece.

I originally ordered this white lace choker dress (looks just like a v. similar one at Free People, but for more than half the price) to wear as a dress, but when the rain came down… I had to get creative. I threw on a black chiffon midi skirt (all the girls wore these skirts in Copenhagen with everything- t-shirts, blouses, crops, sweatshirts!!) over it along with a longline blazer. I love the peek of the flare sleeve & the long layered combo. Right up my alley.

This look & the Copenhagen weather definitely have me excited for Fall! Can’t wait for things to cool down a bit.
