Paperbag Trousers

Paperbag trousers are totally the “It” pant of the moment, but up until now I’ve been a bit iffy.

The name itself basically screams unflattering.

On top of that, shopping online for pants like this is such a nightmare. We all know the models have zero curves, so trying to figure out how they’re actually going to look is like a game of Russian Roulette, you’re just gonna have to take a chance & hope for the best.

Thanks to my shopping holy grail (customer reviews- always read ’em!) I was convinced that these pants are uber flattering/not frumpy at all. I decided to pull the trigger on this purchase.

SO glad I did, cause these are officially my new fave pants. They fit PERFECTLY & to my surprise they were actually really slimming! I paired them a cropped turtleneck (in marled grey aka my “pop of color”) & a sleek black trench to turn it into a semi-pantsuit.

To dress the pants down a bit, I definitely intend to rock them with some white sneakers + a casual cropped tee (expect this look soon).

Soooo, if you’re teetering on the whole paperbag trend, I say go for it w/ these babies. At $20, there really is no reason not to.

Now, If I can just find a more affordable pair of the Rodarte high waisted trousers my collection will be complete. If you guys find anything similar- please let me know! I need!!
