The Ultimate Pore Purging Mask

pore purging mask

I am a total freak when it comes to my skin, always have been always will be. I am not claiming to be any kind of expert in the world of skincare, but I can say this- I have pretty much tried it all…

…& guess what? The face product that has been doing the most wonders for my skin is actually a super easy DIY face mask that will literally transform your skin overnight. No joke, this baby evens out my skin tone, shrinks my pores to nothing, banishes blackheads, dries out acne, & leaves my skin glowing and taut. I swear to you, you will be in love.

Introducing my skins new BFF, AKA the ultimate pore purging mask:

+ Step 1: Steam your face over a hot bowl of water w/ a towel over your head.

+ Step 2: Mix together a hefty scoop of clay mask powder (my fave here), 2 tablespoons of Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, 2 tablespoons of filtered water, & a few drops of tea tree oil. Massage onto your face & let dry fully.Warning: it may itch, but just wait it out. It needs to be completely dry till you feel it pulling your skin back which I think it feels sooo good.

+ Step 3: Rinse your face with cool water to close back up your pores, pat dry.

+ Step 4: Marvel in the mirror & then come tell me how much you loved it.

  1. I am going to try this tomorrow! I love your DIY beauty tricks. I’m obsessed with your DIY dry shampoo- I too am a brunette and I love the cocoa powder addition :)

  2. I can’t get the link to your favorite mud mask powder to load, mind telling me what it is so I can look it up? Really excited to try this mask!

Also, in the steps picture it says only mix clay and tea tree oil then rinse with water and vinegar but in written it says mix all and put on face then rinse with water :) my wedding is just about aonth away and im dying for a fab all natural pore cleaning mask!!!

        1. Here is the link: https://bit.ly/1hIx3Wt

As for the instruction, mix together the clay + apple cider vinegar + filtered water + tea tree & then apply to the face. When dry, rinse with cool water!

  3. I couldn’t find the mud powder here in the UK so I’m gonna try just buying premade mud and adding the other things and hope for the best!

  4. Hey Erica! Is it okay to make this in bulk and keep it, or does it lose its magical powers?!

    1. I make enough for a week, but it gets kinda hard in the fridge after a while so I would just do a weeks worth :) xo
