[ I’ve got a thing for pencils ]

So this weekend, something major kinda happened…

I bought a car!!!

It’s a big & very exciting deal to buy your first care, & I am just feeling good about it.

I was totally happy with my 7 year old previous car & would have kept her for as long as I could, but sadly she was totaled 2 weeks ago, so getting a car was out of complete necessity (not just cause I felt like it!).

Either way, the act buying a car is a very “grown up” thing, & it felt damn good. I did the research, did the test drives, checked safety ratings, compared prices & made a decision perfect for me… all on my own. Well, actually, not alllll on my own- when it was time to haggle my Mom came along cause she’s kind of the master at that stuff.

Anyways, that was a major peak of my weekend & my month & my year, so yea… had to share with all my friends (aka you guys!)
