LET’S TALK LIPS.
I am a creature of habit when it comes to my lip choices & have really narrowed it down to lip vibes at all times: the matte & natural nude, which is my daily go-to & then my 90’s glossy nude which is my lip vibe for when I am feeling a lil’ SPICY.
Both of these lips combos are versatile & go with anything, which is GREAT, because I am not the type who is matching my lip to all my looks. LIKE- I don’t love a pink lip cause I’m wearing pink or a bright red look to match my red dress. That’s just a little too matchy-matchy for me & since I always do a cat-eye on the top half, keeping the lip neutral is a must for me.
& THE BEST PART- both of these lip looks really make your lips look way bigger than they are. Nudes just really enhance your lip size SO much & you gotta get down with the overline!! Overlining my lips is a trick I learned from just about every makeup artist I have ever worked with & it’s simply the act of overlining your natural lip shape.
& IF YOU HAVEN’T HEARD OF OVERLINING YOUR LIPS… it is so damn simple. Look at your lips in a mirror. See that line where the lip meets the skin, draw right on top of that line so your liner is HALF on the lip, half on your skin. The biggest mistakes made when people line their lips is they either try to stay in the lines which will actually make your lips appear smaller OR they go straight on the skin around the lip & that looks clownish. Keep it 50/50 when it comes to the overline & you will be good to go.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in Embrace: I love the formula and color of this lippy. It goes on smooth & is such a great color for ANY and all skin tones.
NYX Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi: I top this lip off with this lip creme because it gives a nice little finish & adds just a TOUCH of brown to the look.
LIP NO.2: 90’S INSPIRED GLOSSY NUDE
Milani Color Statement Lipliner in Spice: this lip liner is my go-to pillow talk DUPE, but it’s just a tad darker so it works well for when I need something a little more bold & it goes on SO smooth.
Milani Color Statement Matte Lipstick in Naked: This is my absolute favorite nude lipstick. It’s not dark at all, but perfectly blends in my spice lipliner to create a smooth, fully covered lip.
NYX Professional Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée: & then I top it off with my HOLY GRAIL of all lip glosses. I actually love ALL of the NYX butter glosses, but Creme Brûlée takes the cake when it comes to color.
