Pineapple Vibes

fruit fashion 2013

Yea yea yea, I know- why the eff is that girl wearing a skirt in October? Welp, cause this girl lives in San Diego, & our weather can’t quite make up it’s damn mind.

One day it’s pouring & I am rocking all out layers complete w/ my go-to beanie & a chunky knit scarf. Next day, the sun is shining & even a jacket is too much. Which is precisely why I don’t stow away my summer gear… ever.

Even if you do live in New York/Boston/the North Pole, I still don’t believe in neglecting your tank tops, skirts, & summery prints (esp. the fruity ones). Personally, I think oxymorons are fun– i.e. me sporting my new pineapple mini in the smack dab middle of Fall. If you do live in a cooler climate, just layer it up. Wear your skirts w/ leggings or knee highs, throw on a chunky sweater over your flowy frock, incorporate darker colors, & of course- stock up on cute beanies/scarves/fingerless gloves.

Get weird you little lushes, cause boring & predictable is just no fun… especially when it comes to fashion. Get it? Got it? Good!

  1. OMG cotton on is amazing. My friend turned me on to this store when she gave me one of her black dresses from there. It’s AMAZINGLY comfy & is pretty much appropriate & fun to wear at any time of day/week/month/season/year/life.
