This weekend was great, until I lost all faith in humanity.

I am sorry to be such a huge ass Debbie Downer on a Monday, but this has been really bugging me & I need to get it off my chest.

Other than work, I don’t spend a lot of time online, so I am always behind on the happenings in our world. Zack & I were eating lunch on Saturday when he asked if I had heard about the dolphin video. I kinda got excited for a second, I LOVE dolphins, so I was expecting he was going to show me something really cool.

NOPE. He continued to tell me it was a video of a bunch of dumb f*cks who pulled a baby dolphin out of the ocean to take selfies with it. Long story short, the dolphin died. It was a rare breed of dolphin that’s skin dehydrates quickly if out of the water.

Like a car crash, I had to watch & I cried like an effing baby. What I saw in that video literally blew my mind & made my skin crawl. I have never seen anything like it. I never want to see anything like it again. The people holding the baby dolphin up in the sky like a trophy should be punished by law, IMO. It’s stupidity & carelessness at it’s finest & I am so appalled. I am sure you guys saw it or atleast hear about it, & if not, I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I wish I could say there is a lesson in this or a moral to the story, but the only moral to the story I see is we live in a world with a bunch of self involved bunch of dumb asses who will do anything for a cool photo to share on Facebook (which yes, some of these idiots proudly shared photos of themselves with the dolphin).

That’s all, I don’t feel better, but I am glad I got it off my chest. Now… I’ll try my best to share some weekend highlights in a more positive manner. x, e
