This & That: Addicted to Fruit

this & that fruit infused water

++ currently obsessed w/ detox water- this one: mango & raspberries! Yum x 100. ++

You may notice a theme in this weeks This & That.

Fruit. Lots & lots of fruit.

I have been so stressed/ busy/ running around like a mad woman lately that I haven’t been keeping up on my health as much as I would like. When you are over-worked & over-tired (no joke, it feels like there are teeny dumbbells are hanging from my eyelids right now), you tend to either be underfed or eating junk just cause it’s quick & easy.

& when I eat like this, I feel like total shit. Sluggish, gross, sleep, & all around ick. So, I plan to spend the next week trying something new– an almost fruitarian diet. I say almost because I do intend to incorporate seeds/nuts/& veggies as well, ya know, for proteins sake. Here’s to hoping I don’t have a fruit OD. Wish me luck!!

xx, E

P.S. I mentioned in this post about the “Road to Festival” event I DIY-ed via Forever 21, & it was an epic turnout. I will spill all the deets (& pics- obv) later this week so stay tuned!!

this & that fruitarian

++ I am pretty excited for tropical fruits all day everyday!! My faves. ++

this & that with mini peacock chair

++ Dead, dying, done!! How insane is the teeny tiny peacock chair I scored at the thrift store for… ready… $5 BUCKS. Weekend-maker, easy. ++

this & that fruit make up bag

++ A fruity make-up bag to inspire my fruit-detox. Plus, two of my new faves from F21’s beauty line:: their matte foundation that I use to contour & their shimmer stick which is pretty much identical to my go-to Benefit Watts Up! (w/ a much more wallet friendly price tag!).++

this & that with mint combat boots

++ my spring shoe:: minty combats! ++

  1. Omg we can be twinsies cuz I have these too!! Although I’m having trouble styling them..

  2. E, Can you give me more deets on your Rasp/Mango Water? How long you keep in the water? Overnight?! D xx

    1. Yes of course- I cut up the fruit & add water. I drink it throughout the day continuously filling it up. Sometimes I make it the night before as well.
