5 Badass Women & Weed Instagram Accounts to Follow

fashionlush, women & weed on instagram

It’s no shocker, the conversation around weed is changing, & a big part of it is due to the women rocking the Mary Jane community, shattering stigmas, & bringing class to cannabis.

Which is seriously giving me all the feels.

Weed is no longer a mans world, women who smoke are no longer considered “lazy potheads”, & the magic that is coming from these ladies is just next level.

One thing I love about flower is that it gets the creative juices flowing, so when you mix badass babes & bud, the result is some pretty dope shit (pun intended).

When you typically think “women & weed” you may think booties, boobs, bong loads, & blunts… and although that is still a big part of it (which is TOTALLY chill #youdoyou), that’s not all it’s about anymore. Weed girls aren’t just a sex symbol, they’re powerful & they’re making some serious moves.

Don’t believe me? Let’s take it to the gram w/ some totally rad babes slaying the Mary Jane game. Get ready to be HUGELY inspired by these content creators just doing there thing & doing it damn well.

“WOMEN WHO GET SHIT DONE … OKAY, AND GET HIGH SOMETIMES, TOO”

I have been eyeing this company for a while now, & finally got my hands on their latest zine (which is so awesome- as seen above!). Their zine is biannual & helps to raise money for Planned Parenthood, yet they are also champions of equal rights, reproductive justice, & PRODUCTIVE cannabis use. It’s run by three ladies in the Atlanta area (along with a handful of female contributors from all over!) & they are helping bridge the gap between cannabis culture & feminism in an effort to de-stigmatize flower.

“CANNABIS LIFESTYLE + BRANDING PHOTOGRAPHY ✨ END THE STIGMA AGAINST SMOKING”

This killer account is run by Canna-babe, Morgan Leigh English. She features women in the industry, & is really making waves when it comes to slaying stigmas. One of her latest captions starts off with “actually I CAN be a pothead + a business owner…”. PREACH SISTER. Not to mention, her cannabis flatlays are the stuff Instagram dreams are made of. She has a website coming soon, which I will be patiently waiting for… I can tell this babe is gonna be doing something cool in the future.

Trust me, this is a club you want to join (like yesterday!). The ultimate cool girls of cannabis Instagram page. It’s chock full of inspirational images, women in the industry, independent artists, & so much more. “HIGH FASHION”

This has got to be a play on We Wore What, which I love. I actually wondered if Danielle was behind this genius, which although I don’t think so, that’d be so rad. Either way, fashion + cannabis = amazing. If you’re into repping your love for Mary Jane in your daily style, this account is for you. I mean… Kim K. rocking a dress covered in gold weed leaves is next level #goals. Where can I get that dress? Need!

This account has a bit more butts & boobs than the others, but I am not mad about it cause it’s full of hotties creating some seriously rad content & is always spotlighting the epic women working in the industry. From female growers & cannabis bloggers to ganja-preneurs & models who like to toke- it’s just a whole lot of girl power & I can’t stop bookmarking their images!
